Heritage Festival Vendors

The 2023 Union County Heritage Festival will be held on Saturday, September 23 from 9:00am to 4:00pm at the Union County Agricultural Center in Monroe, NC. The event is a celebration of the natural, cultural, and historical heritage of Union County. Our aim is to provide inspiration to attain and sustain a healthy lifestyle, community and environment.

 

We welcome vendors and exhibitors of arts and crafts, plants and natural products, lawn and garden, historical, cultural, nature and science, health and fitness, and recycling and conservation.

Our vendor form can now be filled out electronically. Click here to start the on-line process. Once you submit the form you will receive an email with your application choices. Or you may apply by downloading the application form and emailing it back to us.  Click here to download the file. Fill it out and email it to our Vendor Crew at here.  Please only fill out the Application either via this webpage or from the download. In an effort to create a more focused event for our attendees, we do not accept vendor applications from businesses outside of the scope described above. Businesses may however be interested in becoming a sponsor. A variety of sponsorship levels are available, and beginning at the Bronze level, a festival booth space is available on request. We want all vendors to engage and educate the public.  Arts and crafts vendors can demonstrate their craftwork and provide attendees with information and inspiration! You will have a better show and our attendees will have a better experience. If your activity or demonstration is accepted you will receive $25 off your booth price (unless your booth is free, of course).

Disclaimer: In consideration of being allowed to participate as a Vendor at the 2023 Union County Heritage Festival, the Vendor agrees as follows. Vendor agrees to protect, defend and indemnify and hold harmless North Carolina Cooperative Extension, North Carolina State University, the Union County Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Association, and Union County (collectively, the “Indemnitees”), and each Indemnitee’s respective agents, trustees, officers and employees free and harmless from and against all losses, professional fees, costs, damages, and other expenses or liabilities of every kind and character arising out of relating to any and all claims, liens, demands, obligations, actions, proceedings, or causes of action of every kind in connection with or arising out of the Union County Heritage Festival that are due in whole or in part, to the negligence of the Vendor, its officers, employees, subcontractors or agents. Vendor waives, releases and discharges, the Indemnitees, their respective agents, volunteers, trustees, officers, and employees of and from any and all claims, damages, demands, costs, liability and causes of action whatsoever that may arise as a result in participation in the Union County Heritage Festival, including but not limited to any claims, cause of action, liabilities, damages, demands and costs, including attorney’s fees, related to the loss of or injury to any of the Vendor’s person of property.  This waver and release shall inure to the benefit of the Indemnitees, and shall bind Vendor along with its employees, heirs, legal representatives, assigns and successors in interest of the Vendor or any member thereof.  The Vendor agrees to abide by all Rules and Regulations set forth this Union County Heritage Festival 2023 application and brochure.
